Next Collection »

Acquired in 1961, the French Monarchy Collection documents the history of all the French royal families and monarchial institutions, including the art and architecture of the periods. There are roughly 2,500 books and 1,500 pamphlets with imprints ranging from the Estiennes in the early 16th century to Bodoni items of the late 18th century. The history of the French Revolution is also well documented.
