The Italian Risorgimento Collection
The primary emphasis of this collection is on the central period of Italian unification, 1845-1870. It includes eye witnesses accounts, works by significant political figures, many unique pamphlets, and complete runs of several important serial publications. The colection contains 300 books, 1,500 pamphlets, and and 7,000 newspapers and periodical issues. The collection was recently the recipient of a grant which helped to provide access through cataloging and microfilming.
