Jack Driscoll is the author of four books of poetry, three novels, and a collection of short stories. His poetry and fiction have been published in over 100 journals, magazines and anthologies. He is currently the writer-in-residence at the Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Driscoll holds an M.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.A. Magna Cum Laude, from Windham College. Driscoll has been the recipient of an NEH Independent Study Grant, NEA Creative Writing Fellowship, MCA Creative Artist Grant for Poetry and for Fiction. He has been the recipient of five PEN Syndicated Fiction Awards, and the winner of the PEN/Nelson Algren Fiction Award, among many others. He was also the recipient of the 1992 AWP Short Fiction Award, the 1998 Pushcart Book Editors Award for Lucky Man, Lucky Woman, the 1999 Independent Book Publishers' Award, and the 1999 Barnes and Noble Discover Award.
